With only 38 sleeps until Christmas, you might be under the impression that it’s too late to list your property before the holidays. However, that’s not the case.
According to REIWA, October recorded the shortest average days on market ever recorded, with properties spending just 8 days on the market. This means there’s still a prime opportunity for property owners to list and secure a contract before Christmas.
Many buyers and investors are eager to finalize their plans for 2024, including considerations like school zones and investment strategies. With this decision-making mindset before the new year, there’s still time to sell or lease your property before Christmas.
Giving Back to Our Community
At White House, we’re adding an extra dose of passion to our work this month as we embrace the spirit of giving. We’re focusing our efforts on supporting St Patrick’s Community Support, a crucial organization assisting an increasing number of people in our community.
Having visited St Pat’s Community Support Centre in Fremantle, our Team witnessed first-hand the valuable support provided to those experiencing homelessness. St Pat’s CEO, Michael Piu, highlighted the surge in requests for support, ranging from food and shelter to medical and dental assistance.
As part of our commitment, the White House Team is donating $250 for every property sold between November 1st and December 17th. Additionally, we’re providing a $100 Christmas Hamper for every property listed for sale or lease during the same period. To further support the cause, we’re proud sponsors of the Freo Long Table Dinner on November 25th. This event is St Pat’s flagship fundraiser and we are so looking forward to what will be an amazing night of good food and live entertainment!

House listings rose by 4.2percent to 2,537, while unit and vacant land listings fell by 2.3percent to 1,302 and 1.9percent to 1,064 respectively. Overall, available properties for sale decreased by 2.6percent in the past month and 41.5percent compared to a year ago. We saw a 12.7percent decrease in sales transactions last week, totalling 1,010 reported by REIWA members.
Over the past seven days, the team at White House have put FIVE properties under offer, three in Fremantle, one in East Fremantle and one in South Fremantle.
We kicked off the weekend with our Auction at 14 Thomas Street, South Fremantle! Four bidders competed for the property with the eventual buyer being a local who had been looking for over a year. She’s delighted to have secured the perfect property in a quiet spot so close to the beach and all the vibrancy that the South Fremantle lifestyle offers.
After just one home open last weekend, 13C Chalmers Street, Fremantle quickly went under offer with two offers in competition. A lovely couple ended up securing this stylish contemporary home!
The character home at 45 Glyde Street, East Fremantle didn’t last long with three offers being presented and one lucky buyer securing the property in one of East Fremantle’s most sought-after precincts!
We also had two White House Confidential opportunities, both 2×2 apartments in Fremantle that were snapped up off-market this week.
If you would like to know more about how we can assist you with selling your property, whether it be on or off market, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
