Helping More People Move Earns White House a Place Among WA’s Best; First Home Buyers Deposit Changes

At White House Property Partners, everything begins with helping people move confidently into their next chapter. Whether it’s buying a first home, upsizing for a growing family, or selling a much-loved property, we work together with care and integrity to make the process smooth and rewarding.

Last weekend, this dedication was recognised at the REIWA Awards, where our team was honoured to be named the #5 Top Small Office by Value Sold in Western Australia.

Together, in the 2024–25 financial year, our team achieved 218 sales with a total value of $287,698,100, a reflection of the trust our clients place in us and the consistent effort of every team member in our small business.

While awards are a lovely industry acknowledgement of our hard work, what matters most to us is our clients.

A heartfelt thank-you to each of you who has chose to work with us: it’s only because you entrust us to handle the sale of your properties that we are able to do the work we love and achieve this recognition.

We’re especially delighted to share that three of our agents were individually acknowledged among the Top 5 percent of agents in WA: Louise Pope, 53 sales worth $60,641,000, Connie Handcock, 61 sales worth $80,058,000, Stefanie Dobro, 48 sales worth $83,624,100.  A special mention also goes Carlie Baker, who achieved 26 sales worth $37,747,500 for clients.

These achievements reflect the hard work, care and high standards that every single member of our incredible sales and administration teams brings to every transaction. Recognition at this level confirms that the way we choose to work – authentic, client-focused, with attention to detail delivers outstanding results.

Helping First-Home Buyers – And Watching the Market

Buying a first home is exciting, but saving the deposit is often the hardest part. We see it every week, buyers doing their best and families stepping in to help where they can.

From 1 October 2025, the Federal Government will expand the First Home Guarantee, allowing buyers to:

  • Purchase with just a 5 percent deposit
  • Benefit from higher price caps
  • Access more lender options
  • Apply without income limits

For Perth and regional WA, the cap will rise to $850,000 (up from $600,000). Other areas of WA will lift to $600,000 (up from $450,000).

These changes are designed to help first-home buyers, but they may have an unforeseen effect: by increasing the pool of eligible buyers, the policy could place further upward pressure on prices, particularly in areas where supply is already tight and prices have already increased significantly.

If you’d like to talk through what these changes could mean for you or someone in your family, we’re always here to help.
