New Domain data released this week revealed that Perth’s housing market is on track to hit a $1 million median price before Christmas, following another quarter of solid growth.

Perth’s median house price now sits at $981,259, rising 1.6 percent in the September quarter adding more than $15,000 in value in just three months. While the city’s growth rate was slightly behind some eastern states, its long-term momentum remains strong, driven by low supply, growing confidence, population gains and recent interest rate cuts.
