The local property market remains active, with strong buyer attendances at most of our home opens over the past week and three of our four sales in the past week selling after the first home open.
This week’s Reserve Bank of Australia interest rate cut of 25 basis points to 4.10%—the first since 2020—has sparked plenty of discussion. Interestingly, history shows that interest rate changes alone don’t dictate property prices.
So, what really drives strong sales results? Presentation, a great pricing strategy, effective marketing, and the right agent. While lower interest rates may encourage more buyers into the market, the properties achieving the best results are those that are well-prepared, expertly marketed, and represented by a skilled agent. The good news? These factors are entirely within an owner’s control.
This weekend’s Rottnest Channel Swim is a great reminder that success—whether in open water or real estate—comes down to preparation, strategy, and having the right team around you. Just as swimmers rely on experienced navigators and a strong support crew to guide them to the finish line, sellers benefit from expert advice to position their property for the best possible outcome.
At White House Property Partners, we’re here to ensure you have the right presentation, strategy, marketing, and agent in place to achieve the best result. If you’re thinking of selling, buying, or leasing, we’d love to hear from you.
