THE LOCAL MARKET
At the end of last week, there were 3,253 properties for sale in Perth with less than 2,000 houses for sale and under 900 units. This was relatively similar to the previous week, however, the total number of properties available for sale is 7.3 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 40.1 per cent lower than a year ago, indicating a tighter market with reduced availability, which could influence buyer behaviour and pricing strategies. Sales transactions in Perth increased by 1.8 per cent compared to the previous week, with REIWA reporting 828 transactions.

We were thrilled for successful purchasers with whom we’ve been working for some time. THE RENTAL MARKET
In Perth’s rental market, REIWA members reported 2,481 properties for rent at the end of last week, steady from the previous week. This consistency in rental availability is noteworthy given that the rental listings figure is 13.9 per cent higher than a year ago. REIWA members reported 690 properties leased last week, marking an 18.6 per cent increase from the previous week, suggesting an active rental market with increasing demand and competitive leasing conditions.
